In the run-up to our&nbsp;<b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/872030526162890\/\" target=\"_blank\">Seven-Player Co-op event<\/a><\/b>&nbsp;on<b>&nbsp;Thursday 6th November<\/b>&nbsp;at&nbsp;<b>Four Quarters Bar, Peckham<\/b>, we&#8217;ll be revealing the finished poems, now in the hands of their wonderful backers.<br \/><br \/>Poet and storyteller <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CTrevien\" target=\"_blank\">Claire Tr\u00e9vien<\/a> selected<b> Failbetter Games<\/b>&#8216; steampunk text adventure <i><b><a href=\"http:\/\/fallenlondon.storynexus.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Fallen London<\/a><\/b><\/i>. Old acquaintance.<br \/>A scent of debt and smoking incense.<br \/>\u201cI thought I\u2019d have to have you caught.\u201d<br \/><i>Perhaps not.<\/i><br \/><br \/>She welcomes you with blazing eyes.<br \/>\u201cI do hope you can help,\u201d she sighs.<br \/>\u201cPerhaps you\u2019ve never been this hot.\u201d<br \/><i>Perhaps not.<\/i><br \/><br \/>She tells you that she\u2019s burning up<br \/>and can\u2019t be quenched by any cup.<br \/>Your legs are weak. The candle\u2019s squat.<br \/><i>Perhaps not.<\/i><br \/><br \/>You hand her now the blotto youth.<br \/>\u201cHe\u2019ll do quite well,\u201d she purrs. In truth,<br \/>you nearly ask, \u201cDo well for what?\u201d<br \/><i>Perhaps not.<\/i><br \/><br \/>\u201cYour hand is empty. Stay awhile.<br \/>I\u2019d like to see that thieving smile.<br \/>You know, we both might learn a jot.\u201d<br \/><i>Perhaps not.<\/i><br \/><br \/>\u201cWell, I\u2019ve jawed on for eons, kitten.<br \/>Tell me of your expedition.\u201d<br \/>Rapt, she wants to hear the lot.<br \/><i>Perhaps not.<\/i><br \/><br \/>You tell her of the rubber men<br \/>who flubbled through the laudanum dens,<br \/>and nearly mention what they sought.<br \/><i>Perhaps not.<\/i><br \/><br \/>The Carnival.
