Two Snowems, by Jon Stone

Snowems, or snow-poems, are wintry poems, each collaged from a single book, where words (or fragments of words) cascade down the page, settling in layered lines at the bottom. Every snowem is a gift for a particular person; when printing them out to make cards, I use a marker pen to fill in the gaps with black, so that the words look more like snow against the night. These digital versions are simple two-frame gifs – very roughly mimicking a continuous snowing effect.
